Jeri is an Art Therapist and Counselor focused on anti-exploitative practices. She has been fascinated by true crime since she was young…. for better or worse. After working in forensic art therapy, she realized stepping away to reground was necessary. Last year, Jeri and a few other clinicians, feeling drawn to finding a more ethical alternative to private practice, opened a therapy collective dedicated to more informed and transparent care.

“When Heather asked if I wanted to start a podcast, I saw an opportunity to revisit the true crime space but on our own terms. Now, I get to bring my background in mental health, along with my awareness of our broken and harmful systems, into thoughtful conversation. I hope to share insights, have some laughs, spark curiosity, and offer psychoeducation .”

Heather is a storyteller at heart — a published poet, author, and classically trained singer with a degree in Creative Writing. By day, she thrives as a product manager; by night, she brings her love of folklore, history, and true crime to life through podcasting. She’s also a busy mom, jewelry artist, and lifelong explorer, always chasing new stories — whether on the page, behind the mic, or on the road.
